Purpose: To build an enterprise project management capability in the Department

Functions:

• Create and maintain the programme management support office
• Develop  and set project management frameworks, processes and standards , monitoring and reporting on projects
• Coordinate sector planning and implementation management
• Provide oversight on the implementation of project/programme management methods/tools
• Develop  and build a centre of excellence
• Manage and maintain an EPMO system and compile high level analytical reports
• Train, mentor and coach employees to execute projects
