About US
Purpose: To facilitate community mobilization and institution building to reduce household poverty in accordance with Comprehensive Rural Development Programme (CRDP)
Functions:
- Facilitate consultation with community stakeholders
- Facilitate the formation of community organizations with public and private sector organizations
- Provide household poverty and rural development profiling, and produce management information and reports
- Synthesise profiling with broader research to develop a view of changes, trends and innovation within the Rural Development context
- Facilitate household profiling in CRDP sites and Land Reform projects
- Facilitate household progress tracking and graduation out of poverty on the CRDP sites
- Manage the household poverty database and information pertaining to the CRDP
- Facilitate skills development for rural communities in support of the implementation of the CRDP
