Notice of the approved National Spatial Development Framework

Minister Zokwana returns to Magukubjane to provide feedback

The Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Honourable Senzeni Zokwana, cordially invites members of the media to a feedback, farmers and community engagement programme to be held at Magukubjane Village in Limpopo Province. Minister Zokwana visited the area last year in February and promised to return to Magukubjane. The Minister is going to provide a progress report and feedback on the promise made during his visit to the area last year.

Furthermore, he will engage youth as to inform them about the opportunities and programmes they can benefit from that are offered by the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The Minister committed to supply 200 fruit and shade trees to Magukubjane Senior Secondary School, Mashiyane Primary School and to the community at large. DAFF delivered 210 of the promised fruit and shade trees to encourage families and learners to grow their own plantations. Pledges were also made by DAFF’s entities and the Minister is going to make an announcement on the achievements.
